THE ATLANTIC
On this 4 day journey, you’ll discover an impressive facet of Morocco’s geography, the Atlantic!
The Atlantic coast of Morocco is world famous for its golden beaches and perfect surfing spots.
We’ll begin this journey by crossing the Argan Forest and exploring the medina of Essaouira.
Gaze at Essaouira’s emblematic blue fishing boats and visit the Portuguese citadel.
Swim or surf at Imsouane’s beach, home to Morocco’s longest and friendliest wave.
In Taghazout, we’ll take time to mingle with local fishermen, swim, and wait for the sunset.
This tour is a slow, well-paced journey, purely intended to match the vibes of the Atlantic.

Meet and greet your guide and driver at your preferred pick up location. This written program is based on a start from Marrakech, Rabat, or Casablanca, but can be adapted to start from Agadir as well.
Witness tree climbing goats and learn all about Argan oil before heading to Essaouira to explore its beautiful and mystical medina!
After a slow breakfast at your Riad’s rooftop terrace, we’ll head out to continue our discovery of Essaouira’s medina and its fortified port, famous for its traditional blue fishing boats and gazillion seagulls hovering above!
We’ll then board our tour vehicle and being our drive to the Bay of Imsouane. A small fishing village along the Atlantic, famous for its surfing and hippie scene!
We’ll also stop at Café Diabat to pay our respects to the great Jimi Hendrix. His famous “Castle in the Sand” song was written and inspired here!
Our drive toady will reveal jaw dropping panoramic scenery of the Low Atlas, the Atlantic Ocean, and more Argan Trees than anyone could count!
Sleep in or wake up early to surf the waves at the Bay of Imsouane! Our guesthouse here has amazing views of the Atlantic and the Bay! Be our guest to sleep in or start your day early, we’ll make both worthwhile!
We’ll then leave Imsouane and continue our drive along the Atlantic Coast towards Taghazout via Immi Ouaddar, a charming and exceedingly colorful beach village along the way!
Once in Taghazout, we’ll check-in to our guesthouse/hotel and head to the beach for a day’s worth of surfing and relaxing! Feel free to join a surfing lesson or rent surfing equipment from our guesthouse/hotel. Taghazout is a small village but the night here is much livelier, as we’ve a greater choice of trendy ocean view bars to enjoy the beautiful sunsets of the Atlantic!
This morning we’ll begin our day with a visit to Agadir Oufella, for a wonderful panorama of the city of Agadir, before we continue our drive to Marrakech, Casablanca, or Rabat.
However, should you choose Agadir as your end point, we’ll then share a custom program with you upon request!
